A Blind Tasting of Top Left-Bank Bordeaux vs. PMV Cabernet Sauvignon

We end the 2024 season of Summit Circle events in a similar fashion to how we began, with a blind tasting of cabernet sauvignon that contrasts the best wines from Left-Bank Bordeaux with cabernet sauvignon from our own property. The Bordeaux appellations of Pauillac, Margaux, St. Estephe and Pessac-Leognan, among others, produce the most famous cabernet sauvignon in the world. Steve Pride will again raid his personal cellar to share great examples of these wines from great vintages, which will include "first growths" and other iconic chateaux. Twelve wines will be tasted blind across four flights, each corresponding to a different vintage. See for yourself whether your palate is geared more to the new world or the old world and expand everything you know about cabernet sauvignon. A casual lunch will follow with select wines from the Pride's family cellar.
