This wine exudes elegance and inner beauty. The seamless texture has enough weight to speak of its mountaintop origin but is more about creamy, silky, enveloping pleasure with not a single component out of place. The comforting flavors of black cherry, ripe plum, licorice, spice and cocoa are uplifted and made intriguing by aromatics of sweet tobacco, sandalwood, black pepper and lavender. This gorgeous cabernet simply resonates charm today and will age gracefully for decades.

A blend of 54% Napa County and 46% Sonoma County grapes from the Pride Mountain Vineyards Ranch, which straddles the Sonoma and Napa county line. A remarkably elegant and finesse-driven Cabernet Sauvignon with dusty black cherry and graphite laced with green tobacco and cedarwood. A firm backbone of acidity supports medium-bodied, soft, supple tannins. A touch of chocolate and baking spices round out this excellent effort.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful, burly wine. Copious amounts of dark fruit, bittersweet chocolate, spice, leather, tobacco and incense are all amplified. There's plenty of fruit, but also tannins that are pretty bombastic. Even with some rough contours, this is a fine example of the year.
